There's an air of urgency, a frantic feeling rising from the cubicles at the Community Action Partnership of Northwest Montana these days.

The nonprofit agency on Kalispell's Main Street is on the front line of helping people who have lost their jobs, or their homes, or both. Applications for assistance have almost doubled in two years and still are rising. Continued[+]...
