Capacity Building

LISC Bay Area knows that real, lasting change in any neighborhood must be built from the ground up. Local organizations know their neighborhoods the best and that’s why we build deep partnerships with local organizations who engage residents in the work of community-driven neighborhood renewal.

We provide Community Development Corporations, Faith Organizations, and local municipalities with training, technical assistance, and funding to help them become

champions for equitable community and housing development and to create local businesses that help their communities thrive. Not only do we provide the resources and skills to help local leaders achieve success, but we also provide connections to create a network of project management professionals who serve as a resource to each other, share information, and provide peer support throughout their careers.
