Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is the nation's largest community development enterprise, investing over $1 billion annually to transform lives and revitalize communities. Our Financial Opportunity Center® (FOC) Network is a key initiative aimed at improving the financial well-being of individuals and families with limited wealth, income, and employment opportunities. Through our network of 120 FOCs nationwide, we provide employment and career counseling, personalized financial coaching, education, and low-cost financial products that build credit, savings, and assets. Additionally, FOCs connect clients with crucial income supports, including SNAP, utilities assistance, affordable health insurance, and other benefits.
As one of LISC’s 38 local offices, LISC Charlotte collaborates with local government, community development corporations, nonprofits, philanthropies, and businesses to revitalize underserved neighborhoods and create opportunities.
We are committed to promoting and investing in this integrated service delivery model and are pleased to announce LISC Charlotte’s FOC RFP. We are seeking a partner organization dedicated to transforming their employment and financial capability/asset-building programs into high-performing, data-driven models with integration at the core.
The selected partner will be awarded up to $150,000 per year to support the integration of the FOC model.
