The National Association of Charter School Authorizers recently released their National Policy Index as a resource for the sector to learn and gain insight on the charter policy landscape in all 50 states. The National Policy Index covers statutes, primarily in state charter school law, that relate to charter school authorizing. It is the most comprehensive database of state-level legislation related to education reform, authorizing, and charter schools. This resource will help authorizers, school leaders, education researchers and advocates see how their state compares to others in areas such as access and equity, charter governance, and funding.
