The U.S. Department of Education (ED) offers federal grant funds for charter school facilities through two programs administered by the Office of Innovation and Improvement, an entrepreneurial arm of ED that makes strategic investments in innovative educational practices. The U.S. Department of the Treasury allocates authority for four federal programs for which charter schools are eligible. In addition, the U.S. Department of Agriculture has its Community Facilities Program, which can be accessed for charter school facilities financing.
