Join us on November 19th at 2pm ET to learn the best practices and common pitfalls to avoid while managing your school's construction project. Every charter school facility project consists of the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases, our experts will walk you through the entire construction process, from start to finish.
We will provide guidance for essential tasks like: developing a construction project budget, assembling and directing your project team (e.g., architects, owners reps, design engineer), site evaluation, and balancing your school’s current facility needs with future growth plans. Pre-registration is required.
Session Overview:
Over the course of this webinar attendees will:
- Understand the documents you must prepare during the pre-construction phase of your school project
- Learn how to assemble an effective project team, set realistic project timetables, and assess potential project sites
- Learn how to create a budget and estimate costs for your facility project, our experts will outline key line items to include
- Understand what technical and structural reports are part of the construction process
- Review a checklist of post-construction activities that need to be completed before the project is turned over to the school leader/building owner and the school can begin occupying and utilizing the space
- Receive recommendations that will ensure your project is delivered on time and within your project budget
