About the Center
Welcome to the National Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative (CVIPI) Resource and Field Support Center, a source for information and practical resources on community violence intervention (CVI).
The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is supporting LISC and other training and technical assistance partners to bring critical CVI resources to local governments, community practitioners, and their partners as they work together to prevent violence.
This website serves as a central repository for information about community violence and effective strategies to address it, as well as training opportunities and connections with peers or experts who can help identify responses that worked in their communities.
