Project 100: Sights, Sites, and Insights

As 2023 ended, reflecting on what gave us pause, and what gave us hope, we realized that there was one challenge we could take on – reconnecting with our partners. That’s why, in 2024, you’ve seen us out and about, in person. Our own internal mission we call Project 100 is to see the sights, the project sites, and gain the insights directly. Our goal is 100 site visits by the end of 2024.

Sights: Our Nation's Capital is filled with remarkable sights, from the monuments to Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens to the Potomac. We are sightseeing DC's most well-known sights and enjoying new ones that have emerged after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sites: In 2024, we are out and about, in-person. We are conducting site visits of our cooperatives, senior assisted living, and other affordable housing projects we've invested in. We are also attending events and initiatives from our partners and leading walking tours in the neighborhoods we've had a footprint in for over 40 years.

Insights: We are engaging with residents, nonprofit leaders, small business owners, and other partners in our communities. We are celebrating their accomplishments, listening to their challenges, and collaborating to build capacity and advance our work together.

As of September 2024, we are 67% of the way toward our goal. On our 43rd year, we are here, standing with you, for the work ahead.
