Preservation Fund

The DC Preservation Fund offers flexible acquisition and predevelopment financing for projects that preserve existing affordable housing across DC. 

In 2018, Mayor Muriel Bowser selected LISC to be a Fund Manager for the District's Affordable Housing Preservation Fund based on our proven track record of helping BIPOC and residents of low income stay in the neighborhoods they have long called home. 

Since serving as a Preservation Fund Manager, LISC has invested $68M to support the preservation of over 690 affordable homes across Washington, D.C.
