Newark Resident Leadership Academy (NRLA) 

NRLA is designed as an immersive community building and designed to encourage and empower Newarkers to become agents of change in their own neighborhoods. GNL believes that neighborhoods thrive when rooted in what neighbors want for themselves, their families, and the places they call home. NRLA provides residents and organizations with the resident leadership training, technical assistance, and funding necessary to build vibrant and healthy neighborhoods.

Participant Expectations

• Attend and engage in the 6-part training series and complete required materials for learning sessions.
• Work in collaboration and partnership with NRLA program participants, including but not limited to: direct and indirect team members, program staff, program partners, workshop presenters, and special guests.
