At LISC Hampton Roads, we believe that the foundation of strong, sustainable communities is built on the financial stability of its residents. This means providing individuals with the necessary skills and resources to secure living wage jobs, effectively manage their finances, and confidently plan for their future.

LISC Hampton Roads helps families increase their income and build wealth through participation in our community based Financial Opportunity Centers (FOCs) which are housed at community development organizations around Hampton Roads. These centers provide low- to moderate-income families with the support they need to achieve their financial goals, including employment and career counseling, financial coaching, education, and access to low-cost financial products that help build credit, savings, and assets. With LISC's family income and wealth building program, families can feel confident in their ability to thrive and reach their financial milestones.
