Aundra Wallace, President of JAXUSA Partnership, has joined LISC Jacksonville’s Local Advisory Board, bringing decades of experience in economic development, revitalization, and community engagement to support our mission of transforming Jacksonville’s distressed urban core neighborhoods into healthy, sustainable communities.
“Mr. Wallace is highly knowledgeable about the issues facing Jacksonville’s urban core neighborhoods and has engaged in years of work to provide support in various ways to these distressed communities through his professional and personal experience,” said LISC Jacksonville Executive Director Dr. Irvin “PeDro” Cohen. “He brings a deep understanding of the historical challenges these communities have faced, and his input, guidance, and unique perspective will greatly complement our existing board. We are honored that he has joined our mission.”
Wallace has served as President of JAXUSA Partnership, the regional economic development arm of the JAX Chamber, since 2018 and is a recognized expert in urban, community, and housing development. Prior to JAXUSA Partnership, Wallace served as CEO of the City of Jacksonville’s Downtown Investment Authority, leading economic development efforts for downtown Jacksonville. His leadership facilitated more than $150 million in public investment dollars that created more than $800 million in private capital investments during his five years at the helm. He previously held similar positions in Detroit, Miami, and the state of North Carolina, and is a Certified Housing Development Finance Professional.
