LISC Greater Kansas City’s annual community development celebration, Thrive, has been a tremendous success over the past four years. It is a one-of-a-kind experience that has been cherished by our honorees and the hundreds of neighborhood, community and civic leaders who have previously attended. Each year, we have paid tribute to deserving individuals, organizations, and businesses that have made our community a more inclusive, resilient, and thriving place to live, work, do business, and raise families.
While we have made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person gathering this year, we will once again celebrate our Thrive honorees virtually over the course of nine weeks later this fall. This year’s theme will be “Thrive: The Road to 40” in tribute to LISC’s engagement in the Kansas City community for 40 years. As we look ahead to honoring our residents, partners, and funders who have made this work possible over the past four decades, we intend to culminate our 40th Anniversary with an in-person gathering in the fall of 2022.
