This year, the NRF received 66 application requests totaling $173,322. After careful review, the applications recommended for funding in 2019 total $120,223 in awards to 48 neighborhood and community organizations.

The NRF is a unique funding collaborative that annually provides grants up to $3,000 for community-driven and neighborhood-led revitalization projects and initiatives in low- to moderate- income areas in Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. 2019 funding contributors include Hall Family Foundation, Hallmark Corporate Foundation, William T. Kemper Foundation, AltCap, The Sosland Foundation, JE Dunn, Commerce Bank, US Bank, and UMB. The NRF is managed by the Community Capital Fund and LISC.
