February is the time we recognize the invaluable contributions Black Americans have made within our country, the economy and across the world. 

Black business owners still face numerous challenges, but the lack of access to capital is the reoccurring theme that has plagued many Black business owners during the course of this global pandemic. LISC KC’s Holly Long sits down with the President of the Heartland Black Chamber of Commerce Kim Randolph to discuss why it is vital to support Black businesses and why we must be intentional all year long to help keep these businesses sustainable.
