She is currently the Board Treasurer for the Imagine Youth Foundation of Los Angeles and for the New Village Academy for Girls.
Nicole recently shared her thoughts on her new position as a LISC LA LAC member and what she sees in the organization’s future:
"I had the pleasure of working with LISC national as their Bank Relationship Manager in 2020 and 2021 and I led my former institution's participation in the Entrepreneurs of Color Loan Fund, managed by LISC Fund Management. Through these experiences, I came to respect and admire the LISC mission and team. Working with LISC locally is my way of continuing the effort with a focus on the great City of Los Angeles.
I joined the LAC to be amongst talented thought leaders in community development who want to have an outsized impact in LA. The issues before our City are significant - particularly the dearth of affordable housing and widespread homelessness. The LAC offers a platform for supporting the LISC LA team in thinking through these issues and developing solutions.
I would like to see the LAC continue to support the LISC LA staff with great ideas and thought leadership on key issues. We will continue to make a difference and leave our mark in LA through collaboration."
