Denisse Ruiz
Communications and Operations

Denisse Ruiz manages strategic communications and operations activities. Prior to joining LISC, she worked as the Communications Officer at Oweesta Corporation, a Native CDFI intermediary. She also worked as an Editorial Assistant at an international art book publishing house, and later as the Advocacy and Communications Manager at Nexleaf Analytics, where she led efforts to advance data rights in the East African Region. Denisse holds a B.A. in Comparative Literature and German Studies from Wellesley College. She currently resides in Somerville, MA, and has previously lived in Los Angeles, Berlin, and Ho Chi Minh City.
