Wealth is often transferred from one generation to the next, or accumulated through home ownership. But for many, particularly people of color, these modes of wealth accumulation are inaccessible. LISC’s financial stability programs build equity by connecting low- to moderate- income families with the financial and labor market mainstream.

Financial Opportunity Centers

FOCs provide employment and career counseling, one-on-one financial coaching, and help building credit, savings, and assets. They also connect clients with income supports such as food stamps, utilities assistance and affordable health insurance.

Bridges to Career Opportunities

Bridges to Career Opportunities are introductory programs for Greater Boston residents in areas such as Biotechnology, Culinary, or Digital Literacy. Training cycles subject to change/vary.
