Housing Resources During Covid-19

July 29, 2020

2 p.m. - 3 p.m.

This webinar will help FOC coaches to understand current eviction policy and housing resources provided under the CARES Act and the tools they will need to serve clients fearing housing instability or homelessness. We’ll also discuss non-monetary solutions to impending evictions, and the resources we’re working to secure in the upcoming HEROES Act to better serve these clients.

This webinar will be presented by Noëlle Porter, Director of Government Affairs by National Housing Law Project. Noëlle Porter is responsible for managing relationships with Congress and the Administration, organizational policy priority development, and strategic advocacy planning and execution. She works closely with all of NHLP’s attorneys to monitor and influence federal legislation and regulations. Prior to joining NHLP, Noëlle managed congressional relations for the National Alliance to End Homelessness after beginning her career in health policy. While earning her Master of Public Health from the University of South Florida, Noëlle worked as a case manager for a homeless services provider in Tampa.
