LISC works across Philadelphia with residents and partners to create neighborhoods of choice and opportunity.

LISC works in neighborhoods that have experienced disinvestment, but where community-based organizations and residents have been persistent in their struggle to improve conditions.

We believe through collaboration, engagement, and impact, we can transform communities into better places to live, work, play and raise families. We provide loans and equity investments and offer technical assistance, training, and capacity building to community partners to improve residents’ lives and the communities where they live. 

We are active in many neighborhoods across the city, investing in programs, projects and organizations that align with our strategic priorities around affordable housing; economic development; and equitable community development.
