LISC Rhode Island works with community members and local leaders to invest funding and "know how" in affordable housing, child care facilities, health equity, education, public safety and workforce development – all basic needs that must be tackled together so that progress is made for all residents. In 2023, our team invested $62.7 million and delivered 6,717 hours of technical assistance to nearly 190 partners across the State.

"Mental Health is Health" Campaign Highlights Resources for Community
LISC facilitated a Participatory Budgeting program in the Pawtucket Central Falls Health Equity Zone that asked the community how they wanted to spend $385,000 to improve community health. The program receiving the second highest number of votes, the “Mental Health IS Health” anti-stigma campaign, launches four videos to address mental health challenges just in time for the holidays.
