Sarah Dingivan serves as the CEO/Executive Director of San Antonio Legal Services Association. Although she and her family now call San Antonio home, Sarah is originally from Mobile, Alabama. Sarah attended college and law school at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she developed her desire to pursue public interest legal work. Sarah began her legal career on active duty with the United States Air Force as a member of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps, where she represented the Air Force, active duty service members, and retirees on topics ranging from civil legal assistance to criminal law.

Sarah joined SALSA, then the Community Justice Program, in 2017 as its first Managing Attorney before she was selected to serve as SALSA’s first CEO/Executive Director in December 2019. Under Sarah's leadership, SALSA has expanded the reach and impact of pro bono legal services in the San Antonio community, launching seven new pro bono legal clinics, as well as a host of legal workshops and training sessions seeking to empower members of the community to understand their rights and navigate the legal system.

Roger Enriquez, J.D. is an Associate Professor of Criminology & Criminal Justice at the University of Texas at San Antonio and is the Executive Director of UTSA’s Westside Community Partnerships initiative. Through Westside Community Partnerships, he works with the Mexican American Unity Council, and other partners to help his West Side neighbors get clear titles for their homes, secure homestead exemptions, access the internet, and protect themselves against predatory buyers. It all amounts to an effort to make the West Side of San Antonio, the neighborhood in which he grew up, a healthy community where families can build wealth. During his three years as Westside’s Executive Director, he and his students have helped more than 300 homeowners secure title to their homes.

Crystal Requejo was born and raised in the Westside of San Antonio, TX. She attended the University of Texas at San Antonio her desire to serve her community has led her to continue her passion at the Mexican American Unity Council (MAUC). Crystal has been with MAUC for 15 years and she currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing all programs and operations and its three affordable housing properties. Crystal is certified in array of programs ranging from health, education and housing. She is certified as a Financial Counselor for National Housing and Network Learning Alliance (NHNLA) and a Texas Community Health Worker. November 2018 Crystal completed the National Association of Latinos Community Asset Builders (NALCB) Pete Gallegos Fellowship and received her Non-Profit management certification from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). August 2023 Crystal was appointed to serve on the City of San Antonio’s Housing Commission. Crystal is married to Victor De La Rosa Jr. and a proud mother of her two daughters: Emily Grace and Eliana Faith.

Juan Valdez is the local government relations manager for Methodist Healthcare. Before joining Methodist Healthcare, Juan served as a senior policy advisor for Mayor Ron Nirenberg where he advised on affordable housing initiatives. He served as a steering committee member and a co-chair of San Antonio’s Strategic Housing Implementation Plan, a $3 billion affordable housing policy document and roadmap for the City of San Antonio. Juan played an integral role in the passage of the city’s 2022 $150 million affordable housing bond which included funding for housing preservation, new construction, and permanent supportive housing. He received his BA in political science at St. Mary’s University and attended the University of Notre Dame where he received his PhD in political science. On weekends, Juan spends his time smoking Texas style BBQ and trying new salsa recipes.
