Established in 2011, EquityPlus, LLC has sought to create value in underinvested communities by taking advantage of exisiting state and federal tax credit investment programs. EquityPlus' real estate development services provide high quality and sustainable housing while minimizing barriers to entry. EquityPlus is headquartered in Madison, MS and has regional offices in the Northeast and the Southeast US in addition to the D.C. metropolitan area. 

LISC provided EquityPlus with a $500,000 predevelopment loan to support the development of a 193-unit affordable housing project in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The project will be leased at rates that are affordable to individuals earning a 50%-70% of AMI. The vision for this affordable housing community is to construct 193 single family homes plus a non-residental community building. Community amenities will include a business center/computer lab, clubhouse, exercise facility, on-site management and playground.
