Damon Jiggetts believes deeply in the power and agency of young people. He currently serves as executive director of The Peter Paul Development Center, an academic-based after-school program serving four of Richmond's public housing communities. Peter Paul focuses on community development, summer enrichment and social enterprise initiatives.
It reflects is long-time work as a thought leader on youth programs. Jiggetts is also president of Resource Partners Consulting, providing strategic planning and organizational development support to area nonprofits. He manages programs and operations for Communities In Schools of Richmond, which supports the aspirations of young people in 40 high-poverty neighborhood schools. Earlier, he oversaw programs at several Boys and Girls Clubs in Virginia.
Jiggetts has a bachelor’s degree in history education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a master’s degree in public administration from Central Michigan University – Richmond campus.

Fellowship Project:
Develop a comprehensive transportation system for Richmond Public Schools that will ensure out-of-school-time (OST) access for Richmond Public School students. OST services prepare young people to be more positively engaged in school and in society, but access has consistently been the issue. This program builds on recent support from the mayor and new schools superintendent for OST.
