Rebecca Kaufman is supporting farmers building an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future.
As the Senior Director of AgLaunch, she works to build a transformed food and agricultural economy centered around farmers, innovation, and equity. AgLaunch attracts, creates, and grows agtech startups, facilitates the development of new agriculture and food value-chains, and builds collaborative and diverse farmer networks.
Rebecca served as the Director for Policy and Research at the Delta Regional Authority under the Obama Administration where she focused on rural economic development across eight states. Prior to joining DRA, she practiced law and specialized in consumer protection and complex litigation.
Rebecca earned a B.A. from the University of Mississippi before completing a dual-enrolled law school and master’s program at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and the Clinton School of Public Service, with her field work based in Marvell, Ark. and Melbourne, Australia.
