12th Avenue Cooperative
About the project
Formed in 2006, Bay Area Community Land Trust is a community based organization whose mission is to create permanently affordable, resident run housing cooperatives.
Bay Area Community Land Trust is headquartered in Berkeley, CA, with eight affiliated housing co-ops in Berkeley and Oakland.
LISC provided $346,997 in financing to Bay Area Community Land Trust to acquire, rehabilitate and preserve 7-units of affordable housing. The investment is part of the Bay's Future Fund, a $500 million loan fund designed to address funding gaps in order to accelerate the preservation and production of affordable housing in five counties of the Bay Area: Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara.
