200 E. Greenfield Ave
About the project
Rule Enterprises was founded in 2012 and specializes in strategic investing. Everything the company does is rooted in Equity, Equality, and Dignity. Rule Enterprises is the lead developer on three LIHTC developments totaling $82 million, creating 378 apartments and a 24,000 sq. ft. grocery store.
Rule operates in both Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin.
LISC provided a $500,000 predevelopment loanĀ to support 200 E. Greenfield, a new construction, 140-unit mixed-income project in the Harbor District neighborhood. 113 units will be affordable, with 70 units reserved for households making no more than 50% AMI. The building will be managed by Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan, which will provide health and social services via community health workers. The development will be constructed to meet the green and energy standards of the Wisconsin Green Built Homes Program. This loan was financed through LISC's partnership with Advocate Aurora Health. Advocate Aurora Health has provided capital for financing of real estate projects in the Milwaukee and Chicago markets that address the Social Determinants of Health in areas that have experienced significant disinvestment.
