LISC provided a $1.70 million construction loan to finance the rehabilitation of the property located at 2012-2028 East North Avenue in Milwaukee. The interior requires a complete gut rehabilitation of the existing retail and office units. At completion, the building will feature an open retail layout with high exposed ceilings on the first floor and loft office spaces for the second and third floors. Potential tenants include health and fitness centers, a brewery, and a cheese company. This project promises to bring economic development and job creation into a low- and moderate-income (LMI) designated area, creating approximately 80 full time jobs.
