401 Main Street

About the project

Toledo natives, Kevin & Ambrea Mikolajczyk, formed Torrey Hill Apartments LLC in 2015 with the mission to transform blighted buildings and homes in underserved communities into the crown jewels of the neighborhood.

Torrey Hill and its affiliates are located in Toledo, OH.

LISC provided a $452,000 predevelopment loan to support the renovation of 60,000 square feet of a former Masonic Temple located at 401 Main St. in Toledo, OH into 42 units of affordable housing. The development will include 25 1- and 17 2-bedroom senior affordable housing units to be rented at 50% AMI. Built in 1913, the building has an elevator as well as a marble staircase that has been protected. Basement space will be utilized for a management office, laundry facility, exercise room, multi-purpose room available to tenants, and small office space for use by service providers.
