About the project
SVDP Management Inc., also known as Father Joe's Villages, was established in 1950 to serve San Diegans experiencing homelessness and poverty. Father Joe’s Villages has grown to include a comprehensive campus and scattered-site programs that house over 2000 people nightly. It all began with a small chapel in downtown San Diego.
SVDP owns and operates over 400 affordable apartment units, also provide emergency shelter, transitional shelter, rapid rehousing, supportive housing, providing wrap around homeless service.
SVDP serves San Diego County, primarily focused on individuals experiencing homelessness.
LISC provided $4.25 million of acquisition financing to support 901 Pier View, a transformative seven-story development in Oceanside, CA. The newly built project will include 64 units of affordable and supportive housing. Seven units will be dedicated to veterans and additional apartments will support those at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
