Abigail Pankey Apartments
About the project
The Women's Community Revitalization Project (WCRP) was established in 1986 as Philadelphia's first and only women-led community development organization. With a particular focus on low-income women and their families, WCRP strives to increase equity through the development of affordable housing, the provision of supportive services, and robust political advocacy work.
WCRP is headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, and works within the surrounding urban area.
LISC provided $798,000 of predevelopment financing through our MacKenzie Scott partnership to support Abigail Pankey Apartments, a new 32-unit development in West Philadelphia. The project will be 100% affordable to families making no more than 60% of AMI and will include supportive services for all tenants. The development will also meet Enterprise Green Communities Standards and EPA's Zero Energy Ready Home guidelines.
