Heleos, LLC is led by LISC partners with extensive prior experience developing and advocating for sustainable, affordable housing in the D.C. Metro region. Recognizing the urgency of mitigating the twin crises of housing affordability and climate change, Heleos develops multi-family residences and mixed-use buildings that are affordable to lower and moderate AMI families and individuals while achieving robust sustainability targets.

LISC provided a $1.67 million loan to preserve Angel’s Gate Cooperative, a 10-unit apartment building located in D.C.’s Ward 5, as affordable housing.
