Improving School Responses for Problematic Sexual Behavior
This webinar is part of a series on the Comprehensive School-Based Violence and Victimization Program from LISC Safety & Justice and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP). DOJ OJJDP provides national leadership, coordination, and resources to prevent and respond to youth delinquency and victimization.
Overview
Dr. Kenney describes the importance for schools of recognizing problematic sexual behaviors and creating school protocols that are immediately responsive, safety-focused and easy to implement. Dr. Kenney provides examples of assessment tools schools can use to ensure appropriate responses that allow for interagency collaboration, implement correct levels of supervision to address problematic sexual behavior, and provide support to victims.
