Karen Donnally and Iris Nydia Brown Townhomes

About the project

The Women's Community Revitalization Project (WCRP) was established in 1986 as Philadelphia's first and only women-led community development organization. With a particular focus on low-income women and their families, WCRP strives to increase equity through the development of affordable housing, the provision of supportive services, and robust political advocacy work.

WCRP is headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, and works within the surrounding urban area.

LISC provided $167,880 in predevelopment funding to re-syndicate two existing developments: the Karen Donnally and Iris Nydia Brown Townhomes. Together, the two properties make up 44 affordable rental units in Northern Philly between 20-60% AMI. The goal of the renovation is to complete substantial capital improvements to the properties without displacing the current residents.
