Webinar: Promoting Equitable Industrial District Recovery
Overview
This LISC Institute webinar with the LISC Research and Evaluation features a panel discussion on how cities, intermediaries, community organizations, and philanthropy can support industrial district ecosystems in ways that advance equitable economic outcomes.
During the webinar, attendees heard findings from the LISC Research and Evaluation white paper, “Industrial District Revitalization in Three Cities” on how LISC helped revitalize industrial districts in Duluth, Jacksonville and Indianapolis by establishing an ecosystem for collaboration and shared growth. The webinar also featured a discussion with the Urban Manufacturing Alliance, and representatives from three LISC local offices, to learn more about the essential work to foster these ecosystems and their policy and practice recommendations to guide equitable recovery and resilience elsewhere.
