Community Medical Wellness Centers USA (CMWC) is a nonprofit federally qualified health center (FQHC) founded in 2011. CMWC's staff specialize in understanding and working with patients suffering with post-traumatic stress syndrome and other mental health illnesses.
CMWC is headquartered in Long Beach, CA and works throughout 11 zip codes in the area.
LISC provided CMWC a $7.00 million loan to finance the acquisition and renovation of the Mekong Center. CMWC currently leases space in the Mekong Center for both clinical operations and administrative staff. CMWC has experienced a high level of growth in the past two years and is in need of additional space to accomodate additional patients, providers and support staff.
