LISC provided $3.50 million of predevelopment financing to support The Metropolitan, a new mixed-income rental building in Newark's Central Business district. The newly constructed building will have 207 total units, with 67 units set aside for households making no more than 50% AMI. The project will meet Enterprise Green Communities Plus standards, an aggressive green standard for affordable housing developments.
