About the project
Real Art Ways was founded in 1975 as an alternative multidisciplinary arts organization that presents and supports contemporary artists and their work, facilitates the creation of new work and creatively engages, builds and informs audiences and communities.
Real Art Ways is based in Hartford, CT.
LISC provided a $2.60 million acquisition loan to finance Real Art Ways' purchase of the building it currently leases. The acquisition will allow the organization to expand its program space and provide arts-focused space for small artists and artisans.
