Yellow Banana was founded in 2021 with a mission to deliver essential nutrition to working families at affordable prices. The company owns 37 grocery stores under the Save A Lot banner and is Save A Lot's third largest retail partner.
Yellow Banana is headquartered in Cleveland, OH and operates stores in Cleveland, Chicago, Milwaukee, Jacksonville and Dallas metropolitan areas.
LISC provided $11.45 million to support the complete internal and external remodels of six Save A Lot grocery stores in Chicago, IL. All six stores are located in low-income communities and provide essential groceries at affordable prices. A 50% participation was sold to Capital Impact Partners.
