Student- and Community-led Violence Prevention Strategies for Schools

This webinar is part of a series on the Comprehensive School-Based Violence and Victimization Program from LISC Safety & Justice and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP). DOJ OJJDP provides national leadership, coordination, and resources to prevent and respond to youth delinquency and victimization.

Overview

Broward County Public Schools shares strategies they are implementing to address online threats of violence such as their Think B4U Post program and student-led positive community norms campaign. Lompoc Unified School District shares its experience leading an effort to create a community task force to implement community violence prevention approaches to address youth gun and group violence.
