Rooted & Rising, formerly known as United Methodist Children's Services of Wisconsin, was founded in 1962. Rooted & Rising believes in the dignity, potential and worth of all people and is dedicated to helping individuals and families meet their basic needs, establish stable foundations, and pursue their dreams. Its mission is to build a nurturing, thriving community where all people feel welcome supported and a sense of belonging.

LISC provided $174,000 of permanent financing to support the UMCS Townhomes development, which is a 16 year-old LIHTC development comprised of six affordable townhome apartments. This project was funded through our partnership with MacKenzie Scott.
