About the project
The project, Villa Fruitvale, is a partnership between OakBrook Partners and The John Stewart Company. OakBrook Partners was founded in 2014 with a vision to work towards solving the housing crisis in the Bay Area by creating new, high-quality affordable housing. The John Stewart Company provides property management, marketing, accounting, construction management and consulting services to a variety of real estate clients throughout California.
OakBrook Partners and The John Stewart Company are headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area.
LISC provided $4.55 million in acquisition financing for development of the Villa Fruitvale, a 199-unit multi-family affordable housing development will serve at-risk youth up to 40% AMI with 90 units of permanent supportive housing. The project will provide housing for approximately 90 emancipated foster youth of Alameda County and an affordable place to live for local workers near their place of work.
