LISC provided an $8 million construction loan to support the rehabilitation of 822 Dumont Avenue. The building will be occupied by Catholic Charities Neighborhood Services' Head Start program, which is a free, federally funded program designed to promote school readiness for children of low-income families. 50% of this loan was sold as a participation to the Nonprofit Finance Fund.
