LISC provided $213,433 in predevelopment financing to support Sunflower Development Group's project located at St. John's Hospital in Salina, Kansas. A historic hospital that now sits shuttered, St. John's will be renovated into 42 units of affordable apartment homes for senior residents age 55 and older and include another 20,000 square feet of community space. This project will increase the supply of much-needed affordable housing for the elderly community in Salina, a goal articulated and prioritized by the local government.
