In The Word International, Inc. was founded in 2008 by Pastor Harry Williams. As an entrepreneur, faith-leader, youth coach, philanthropist, and community activist, Pastor Williams is committed to improving the living conditions of residents in East Jacksonville. In addition to building affordable homes, he works closely with the Historic Eastside CDC on crime reduction initiatives, place making, and economic development. Each week their location works with Feeding Northeast Florida to provide fresh vegetables, meats and staples at no cost to families in the community.

LISC provided a $550,000 construction line of credit to support the development of six single family homes to be sold to buyers earning no more than 80% of AMI. Eligible buyers have been identified and will be enrolled in the Urban League of Jacksonville's home buyer education program.
